Bizerba presents the software BRAIN2 Capture for capturing and evaluating process data. The manufacturer has added a module to its BRAIN2 software platform that supports all common Windows operating systems and databases and can be easily integrated into existing Bizerba systems. The application enables manufacturers of food and other consumables to document their production data over a defined period and provide individual production reports. The exchange of information can take place via a web service, reports can be exported in various formats.
BRAIN2 Capture software records and evaluates data from connected Bizerba devices such as price labelers, inspections systems and checkweighers. In order to do this, the program collates the individual figures and total datasets in a central database and also records information about any metal discoveries. The option to provide data via the BRAIN2 program web service and other tabular file formats simplifies integration of the software into existing production lines. Users are free to decide which of the file formats offered is best suited for their purposes.

Impressive capabilities
After collecting the data BRAIN2 Capture compiles a report in PDF format. For each metal detector connected, the program manually or automatically generates a separate audit report and a list of foreign body discoveries. This central reporting saves time and prevents loss of information, as comprehensive data for a specific production period can be saved. This evaluation is not just limited to foreign bodies; it also covers evaluations of whole batches or days. For example, the software analyzes the number of packages that do not weigh enough or that exceed the nominal filling quantity, and creates a report accordingly. In addition to PDF format, BRAIN2 Capture also supports all Microsoft Office formats and all common image formats.
Secure access
With the aid of the BRAIN2 web service it is possible to transfer data to other systems. Various programming examples illustrate that the data can be read not only by the user, but also by third party providers, who in many cases make the process connection as external service providers. This saves time and money, as it is not necessary for them to travel to the location. BRAIN2 Capture guarantees maximum data security, as a user-name and password are required even when accessed via interfaces.
