Yamato Scale Dataweigh Move Means Bigger and Better Service

yamatoscaleYamato Scale Dataweigh UK, a leading manufacturer of quality industrial weighing machines, has moved to a new factory in Leeds. The greater space at the new premises on Millennium Way means that Yamato’s service department is now bigger and better than before.

Yamato commercial operations manager Andrea Spencer said: “We are delighted to be in new premises. The additional space means that we can deliver improved service to our customers.

Our service provision has increased and we are now able to keep more genuine spares in stock and we have better training and demonstration facilities.”

Dedicated space in the new factory means that Yamato is able to stock more genuine spare parts for its ranges of weighing machines, multihead weighers, check weighers and metal detectors. Increased stock capacity means shorter response times to customer inquiries.

Andrea Spencer added: “More space means that we have been able to create a bigger service department. A larger capacity to carry spares parts means we can get spare parts to customers more quickly. This means that they have less downtime and the impact to their production and profits is less.”

Only Yamato can supply genuine spare parts for Yamato weighing machines. Non-branded parts on the market are often sub-standard and unreliable. Using Yamato genuine spare parts promotes the longevity of weighing machines.

There are over 3,000 parts in the Yamato inventory, 99 per cent of which are now available at all times. All parts are subjected to rigorous quality controls to ensure durability and can be dispatched by courier on the same day as an order is received.

Yamato also provides high quality training programmes that educate its customers about the concepts, operation, installation and maintenance of multihead weighers. The move to new premises means that Yamato has also enhanced its industry leading on-site training and demonstration facilities.

Andrea Spencer said: “We encourage customers to visit our training and demonstration area at our new Yamato UK site to trial their products on our multihead weighers, checkweighers and semi-automatic weighing machines.”
