GEA to launch its latest PowerPak machine alongside class-leading processing and packaging tech at PPMA 2024

Global technology specialist GEA will be once again delighting visitors with its class-leading food processing and packaging solutions at this year’s PPMA show. Centre stage on the GEA stand will be the launch of the PowerPak 1000, the latest generation of GEA’s flagship thermoforming machine.

Making its first ever UK appearance at the PPMA Show, the PowerPak 1000 epitomises efficiency, package quality and safety with improved productivity and slashed operating costs. Ideal for startups and medium-sized businesses, the PowerPak 1000 is a compact yet powerful machine, with a capacity of up to eight cycles per minute for products such as meats, cheese, seafood, dairy and fresh produce.

On the food processing side, GEA’s high-volume drum forming machine, the GEA Maxiformer 600 will also be making an appearance, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about GEA’s unique step filling process, which reduces waste and ensures perfectly uniform products time and time again.

GEA’s engineers at the show will also be using interactive technology to give visitors a digital experience of the company’s huge choice of complete production lines available for a wide range of manufacturing applications.

Offering the ultimate choice in terms of capacity, technical options and range of bag styles, visitors will also be able to experience the GEA SmartPacker CX400, which boasts impressive output levels with top packaging quality. This exceptionally reliable form-fill-seal model is designed for high capacity and is ideal for a wide variety of applications including confectionery and savoury snacks, as well as fresh bagged salads and grated cheese.

Specialists from GEA’s Extrusion Food Technology department, which includes pasta, noodles and snacks will also be on hand, along with the GEA Bakery team to discuss these ranges of technology and any questions visitors may have regarding these diverse applications.
