The company booth showcased form pressing systems from Hoegger® and advanced slicing technology with the Formax® SX330, both winning the prestigious Italian CibusTec Innovation Award.

Speed and precision with servo-controlled press technology

At the heart of the Hoegger® X-Presses is servo-controlled hydraulic technology that provides fast and accurate pressing. The power of the central hydraulic unit is available for every axis of the hydraulic unit and is applied exactly where it is needed at any given moment. It enables precise travel profiles and controlled application of force, guaranteeing maximum slicing yield of meat specialties such as bresaola, coppa, bacon, speck, and many more whilst also keeping operating costs to a minimum.

The Formax® SX330 – cutting-edge technology for all requirements

The Formax® slicer SX330 - a small machine with big. As a result of the new machine’s higher blade speeds and larger cutting throat size, it sets new standards. In addition to the footprint and throughput advantages the slicer offers, it also provides flexible configuration for a wide range of products, user-friendly design, and optional on-site expansion potential. In addition, at 330 x 160 mm, it has the largest cutting throat in its class. With a cutting blade speed of 1000 or 1500 revolutions/minute, the system ensures top performance and perfectly complements the Provisur Slicer product range for an easy and professional changeover to automated food processing.

Speedy and versatile

The SX330 covers a wide range of applications - from simple slicing systems without scales to more complex slicing lines with up to two scales. It offers smooth, easy changes of components to process different products:  the product feed, shear edge and gripper are already prepared for different types of deli meats, sausage, fresh meat, and cheese. Due to the open and hygienic design, the SX330 is also easily accessible for cleaning and maintenance.
