State-of-the-art test center for industrial food processing: PROVISUR® Technologies opens Innovation Center (PIC) near Paris

On October 6, 2022, the European Provisur Innovation Center (PIC) opened its doors in Plailly, France, in the immediate vicinity of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.

The opening ceremony took place in the presence of Brian Perkins, President of Provisur Technologies, and other management representatives from the USA and Europe.

Comprehensive testing in a true production environment

In the new state-of-the-art PIC, customers and interested parties can evaluate industrial food processing equipment from leading brands of AM2C, Beehive, Cashin, Formax, Hoegger, Lutetia and Weiler. Development and testing can be conducted in a range of application areas - defrosting, tumbling, pressing, slicing, grinding & mixing, forming, pasteurizing, separating - and in a true production environment at controlled room temperatures. Food manufacturers have the opportunity to experience the full range of Provisur equipment, to develop new products with an expert team of food scientists and application engineers. In addition, the PIC offers a restaurant-style kitchen for a complete experience as well as a laboratory that enables comprehensive product analysis.

Clean label and alternative proteins: ongoing development of trend topics

Furthermore, the new PIC offers an optimal environment for factory acceptance tests for Provisur customers. It provides excellent facilities to present innovations from the Provisur portfolio as well as internal and external equipment and application training. The Plailly site has a particular focus on the development and production of clean-label products. The booming segment of alternative proteins will also play an important role.
