Dalziel Ingredients’ reveals its festive food forecast
Blends, cures and functional ingredients specialist Dalziel Ingredients is set to launch its annual festive food report of what’s big this Christmas, available early January.
Dalziel Ingredients’ report, which can be specially tailored for customers, looks at this year’s eating habits and trends, and it reveals its Christmas 2018 predictions of what’s coming next.
The company’s product development team compared the finest festive fare in retail and food service, chilled and frozen meat, fish, sauces, snacks, ready to eat and vegetarian.
It is one of a regular series of foody market reports published by Dalziel Ingredients, which also includes an annual sausage report and BBQ review.
Dalziel’s review shows alcohol infused food is big this Christmas.
It’s no surprise that the nation’s trendiest tipple features highly on this year’s festive menus with gin flavoured sausages, sloe gin mince pies, even crisps and gin-cured salmon.
Dalziel Ingredients’ product development team advises food manufacturers on new flavour concepts and trends, market analysis, factory processes, recipe formulations and product quality enhancements.
