Great start for the new LINPAC & ZULTEC partnership
Leading global fresh food packaging supplier, LINPAC and new partner ZULTEC Group joined forces at Gulfood Manufacturing to demonstrate their strengthened capabilities to customers across the Middle East.
It was the first time the two companies had exhibited together since creating the partnership which will see a new rPET thermoforming operation open in Jeddah, Saudia Arabia, where ZULTEC, a manufacturer and distributor of end-of-line packaging solutions and materials, is based.
The site will supply LINPAC branded rigid and flexible packaging materials to food processors and retailers in the fresh meat and poultry sectors in the Gulf region, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
Adrian Lilley, sales director at LINPAC, said: “Gulfood Manufacturing provided the perfect opportunity to illustrate how our customers will benefit from this new partnership in terms of cost, new product innovation and supply chain efficiency.
“ZULTEC has a long history of serving the Middle East food industry and together we can add value to the Saudi economy and bring world-class packaging solutions to market. The region is seeing increased demand for premium ranges and healthier foods which is being driven by changing demographics and trends such as a burgeoning middle class and growth in consumer convenience. In response, food manufacturers, suppliers and retailers require more advanced packaging solutions which we were able to show at Gulfood.”
Some of LINPAC’s latest innovations were showcased at the event, including Rfresh Elite, Rfresh Evolve, Freshware and new bakery and film solutions.
Alongside the packaging portfolio from LINPAC, ZULTEC – which has a further 21 business enterprises in addition to its packaging and labelling business - was able to offer advice about engineering and IT solutions designed to make customer operations more efficient and productive.
The three-day exhibition brought together more than 1,500 international companies and 30,000 trade professionals to the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
