Bobst, Parkside & LINPAC Step up to Sponsor Women in Packaging (UK)

wipWomen in Packaging UK (WIP UK), an organisation that connects, supports and recognises female employees in the UK packaging industry, has been boosted by the support of Bobst Group, Parkside and LINPAC.

The trio of companies have pledged to sponsor Women in Packaging throughout 2017. Parkside and LINPAC continue to support the initiative having previously backed the scheme in 2016, with the Bobst Group new to the fold.

This combined support will enable WIP to organise more events and activities to continue providing collaborative networking and learning opportunities to female employees across the packaging industry.

Joanna Stephenson, director of PHD Marketing & Strategy and co-founder of WIP, said: “I am really pleased that Bobst, Parkside and LINPAC have agreed to come on board as sponsors. It is testament to each of the company’s beliefs in supporting women across all material substrates, processes and packaging applications.”

Established in 2014, Women in Packaging seeks to connect, support and recognise female employees across the diverse packaging industry from packaging concept through to delivery to the consumer and everything in between. The initiative also encourages and supports women working in the industry to gain training and recognition ensuring the future success of this vibrant industry.
